Pastor Noel Willis
Noel Willis is the Senior Pastor of Living The Word. A gifted teacher of the Word of God, whose straight forward, easy to follow, teaching helps individuals discover, prepare for and walk out the plan of God for their lives
Minister Latoya Willis
Latoya Willis co-leads the marriage ministry at Living The Word, along with her husband, Noel . She also teaches the high school youth classes, Co-chair of Marriages Made in Heaven.
Founding Pastor Taylor Cox Jr
Taylor Cox Jr, along with his wife Cynthia, founded Living The Word in 1994 and served as senior pastor for over 20 years. He is currently co-director of the Greater Detroit Partnership, which brings churches in the Metro Detroit area together to effect community transformation
Founding Pastor Cynthia Cox
Cynthia Cox founded Living The Word with her husband Taylor in 1994. She was ordained as Pastor with her husband in 1994. She also served as Head of the Music Ministry at Living The Word for over 20 years. Over the years Pastor Cynthia has also functioned in countless other roles
Valerie Park
Valerie Park currently serves as the leader of the Alms Ministry. Valerie is a founding member of LTW, having joined the ministry in 1994. Valerie has served the ministry in various capacities including 20+ years as a member of the Youth Ministry. Valerie also serves on the dance ministry and helps ministry. Valerie is motivated by the love of God and is passionate about serving others.
Marquise Fletcher
Marquise Fletcher has been given the assignment of prevention by the Lord, working with youth to keep them from falling through some of the pitfalls that await the children of the inner cities across America. It’s two primary phases are CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) of Oakland County, where he advocates for children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect, and the SOAR DETROIT Youth Reading Program, where he works with youth, helping to facilitate reading proficiency by the 3rd grade.
Kayla Hayes
Kayla Hayes serves as Director of LTW’s Youth Ministry. Kayla grew up at Living The Word, learning what it means to truly live Christ like. After graduating from college, Kayla served with Youth For Christ for nearly two years. As Youth Director at Living the Word, Kayla’s vision is to build strong relationships with the youth using small groups. She has a passion for teaching the Word and helping youth discover their purpose
Minister Clifton Phillips
Clifton Phillips serves as leader of My Brother’s Keeper Ministry here at LTW. The pandemic changed the way we do church in many areas and fellowship and connection is one of them. March of 2019 God put on his heart to start a ministry geared towards ensuring every member felt connected and cared for. My Brother’s Keeper is a ministry that exists to help facilitate fellowship, connection and care. The core values are based on the scripture John 13:34
Minister David Willis
David Willis serves as Leader of the Music Ministry and has been a worship leader for 27 years. David is also a member of the teaching team, and has taught adult Bible classes at Living the Word for over 14 years
Pastor Tracey Holmes
Tracey Holmes has served as the leader of the Helps Ministry for 10yrs. She is also a member of the teaching team and has brought the Word for the last 4yrs. Tracey has a strong passion for serving people in any capacity
